Privacy policy
Punjabi Sikho, by Ikshana Solutions LLC. Last updated 21 September 2026.
Punjabi Sikho teaches spoken Punjabi. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect personal information.
What stays on your device
Your progress (which lessons you have finished, your points and your daily streak) is saved only on your own device. We cannot see it, and deleting the app removes it.
Microphone
When you tap Record on a "Now you say it" screen, the app uses your microphone to make a short recording so you can play it back and compare it with the model voice. The recording is kept in your device's memory while you are on that screen and is discarded afterwards. It is never uploaded, shared or stored on our servers. You can turn microphone access off at any time in your device settings, and the rest of the app will still work.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad tracking
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No third-party services. The lessons, audio and fonts are included in the app
- No selling or sharing of data, because we do not collect any
Website version
If you use the app in a web browser, the website's hosting provider may keep routine server logs, such as your IP address, as most web hosts do. We do not use these logs to identify you.
Children
Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
